Trailers for Rent Near Colorado Springs

Falcon Trailer Plus is located in Falcon, CO, just east of Colorado Springs. If you live in Falcon, Peyton, or Calhan, renting from us will save you from driving into town for pickup and return. Car hauler trailers from Falcon Trailer Plus measure just under 7’ across and 18’ long. This is a flatbed-style trailer, so bring the appropriate tie-downs for whatever you plan to haul. 

With loading ramps and a 12,000-lb winch, you can easily load any type of vehicle onto our car haulers. The weight capacity is 7700 LBs, which is enough to haul a standard-size pickup or small skid steer. We recommend this trailer for transporting vehicles and heavy-duty equipment.

Hydraulic Dump Trailer Rental

Our hydraulic dump trailers measure 5’x10’ and are 18” deep. If you are hauling mulch or dirt, you can fit just under three cubic yards (3yd) of material in the trailer. 

The weight capacity for our dump trailer is 4450 LBs or 2.2 tons, which should be enough for most landscaping or home improvement projects. The high sides on this trailer let it double as a standard utility trailer. We recommend this trailer for landscaping, hauling tools and equipment, and trash haul away.

Long-Term Trailer Rentals

At Falcon Trailer Plus, we also offer long-term trailer rentals. As long as the trailer isn’t booked and payments are kept up-to-date, you can use our trailers for as long as you need.

  • Car Hauler Trailers: These are heavy-duty flatbeds that can accommodate cars, trucks, tractors, equipment, hay & feed, pallets, or building supplies
  • Dump Trailers: These trailers are perfect for hauling debris, rock, cement removal, trash, mulch or dirt and have a high side wall with roll-up mesh net for secure loading.
  • Car Hauler Trailers: The weight capacity for our Car Hauler trailer is 7700 LBs
  • Dump Trailers: The weight capacity for our dump trailer is 4450 LBs or approximately 2.23 short tons.

Rental is per-day basis. If its only needed for a few hours or extended days, ask for an individual quote.

You can request a rental directly from our website or contact us via phone or email to book a trailer. Reservations require a $20 deposit, refundable 8-hrs prior to reservation.

If you are hauling a load of 3000 LBs or more, you must have brakes on your trailer. Both of our trailers come equipped with brake systems. For them to be operable, the tow vehicle must be equipped with a Brake Controller system. We also check the brakes between every rental to ensure your safety.

Yes, you will need to provide a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance to rent a trailer from us. This is to verify your identity and ensure coverage in the event of an accident or damage. If the trailer is damaged in an accident, your insurance (or the insurance of the at-fault party) will be responsible for covering the damages.

We do carry some common accessories that can be included with the rental. However, its user responsibility for providing these accessories and proper use when employing them

We do not carry enclosed trailers, but our dump trailers have 18” side walls.

We do not have restrictions on what our trailers can be used for as long as you follow the weight capacity and proper trailer safety. We recommend our trailers for landscaping, construction, vehicle transportation, trash removal and much more! Ask if you are unsure if we have the right trailer for your project.

To rent a trailer from us, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You must be over 18 years of age.
  • You must have a valid driver’s license.
  • You must provide proof of vehicle insurance.
  • You must have a vehicle capable of towing the trailer and its load.


Please note that it’s important to check the towing capacity of your vehicle to ensure it can safely tow the loaded trailer.

  • Car hauler costs $120 per day (24-hrs)
  • Dump trailer costs $140 per day (24-hrs)
